View network

Note

To create and delete a network, as well as view and change settings, you need SOC administration rights.

Proceed as follows to view the settings for a network:

  • Click on the icon_info icon.
  • The Information about <network name> dialog opens.

Information about network dialog

In the Information about <network name> dialog, you can view the following information:

Element Description
Name The name of the network.
IP Address The IP address of the network.
Packet Rate Limit (in PPS) The threshold value for the maximum number of packets allowed per second.
Dienst-ID A Versatel-specific value.
Channel A Versatel-specific value.
Network type The network type for the corresponding network.
The following values are available:
  • RIPE: Uses the Regional Internet Registry for Europe (RIPE) as the network type.
  • RIPE (PI): Uses the Provider Independent Address Space (PI address space) as the network type.
  • RIPE (LIR): Uses the Local Internet Registry (LIR) as the network type.
  • RIPE (AS8881): Uses Versatel's autonomous system (AS) as the network type.
  • SUBNET: Uses a self-defined IP address range as the network type.
Unique L-Number The unique customer number for the internet line through which the customers are connected.
Bandwidth Limit (in MBit/s) The threshold value for the maximum possible bandwidth.
Duration to Maintain Mitigation (in Sec) The duration of mitigation in seconds after traffic has fallen below the thresholds.
Debitor A Versatel-specific value.
Details A custom comment on the description of the network.
Mitigation type The way in which mitigation is carried out.
The following values are available:
  • BLACKHOLE: If the threshold value is exceeded, all traffic is discarded.
  • ONPREM: If the threshold value is exceeded, the traffic is filtered via the internal servers.
  • CLOUD: If the threshold is exceeded, the traffic is filtered via the Myra data center.
Mitigation Strategy Indicates whether only a single IP address or the entire network is automatically mitigated.
The following values are available:
  • IP: Only a single IP address of the network is automatically mitigated.
  • CIDR: The entire network is automatically mitigated.
Notification email address The email address of the users to whom mitigation notifications are sent.
Auto Actions Indicates whether automatic mitigation is performed for the selected network or not.
The following values are available:
  • Network protection enabled: Automatic mitigation is enabled.
  • Network protection disabled: Automatic mitigation is disabled.
Manual Mitigation Shows whether a manual mitigation may be started for the network.NoteIf the manual mitigation is disabled, the Mitigate button cannot be clicked.
